Looks like it's back in stock. I was able to add to cart but I'm not buying one since I bought Thursday.
Thank you for all the great deals!

It's two-fold. It's design, and licensing. According to these links here... http://electronics.sta http://www.embeddedrel ....if you're building a device that uses an SD card. Then you have to pay the license fee to the "SD card association/group/whatever" So the top manufacturers do away with the SD card once they gain marketshare, and then spin the BS about how it not needed. The Toshiba Drive ALWAYS peaked my interests, "if I wanted a tablet" i would have picked the T Drive for its expansion slots, and its accessory kits are cheap and easy to get online as well. I was also pointed in the direction of the Asus Transformer, but it seems just a bit too pricey for my needs right now. (I couldnt see myself using it for more than a toy and maybe had potential in my backpack to replace my laptop for when I go outside and hit various wi-fi spots.) But now in 2013, without knowing the exact specs of the device, im afraid it could be lagging behind today's dual and quad core tablets. The Art of Slickdeals: Chapter 7. Window Shopping

I agree with the majority of what you said but it doesn''t make what they are doing right.
Come on now. you're gonna pay $200+ for a device, you dont want at least HDMI? The portability of the tablet is one of the main selling points. We're getting to the point were a household will have a laptop AND tablet, now to get basic functionality I should just stick with laptops. Google marketing would hate you. Apple will try to sell us an overpriced Macbook Air in comparison, for twice the cost. This is gonna be another debate thats gonna classify Apple (and now even Google) fans as dumb, while the power users end up looking more savvy and again get more tech for less money. |

I don''t think paying $3k/yr is a big deal for Apple/Lenovo or any other company. The real motive is profit in charging huge money for extra memory. RKN
