$280 out the door from stopping in. $260 from store pickup. Not sure if the extra $20 is a mistake online, but that's the route to go. Hopefully my pickup is still there tomorrow (I got the last one at the local Frys).
You may have to do a lot of back and forth about the game codes. No one at my store knew what the deal was. They also didn't scan the gamecode cards (which I assume they're supposed to), so nothing is stopping you from buying the card (or the FC3 one) to get the codes and return the card other than your personal morals. Also this card is excellent for the price best part being that is custom cooled and if I'm not mistaken the cooler is one of the best ones out there. If I didn't already own a GB 670 I would have been all over this one. Last edited by Hxx; 02-01-2013 at 05:25 PM.. |

Paid something like $309 on launch day for this card with no games
. Asus's quality is beyond worth it. Used an Asus motherboard and this card in my first ever build and I dont think Ill ever consider anything else. The packaging is fantastic and the card is extremely quiet and cool, especially so in my 550d case. I wouldn't hesitate to buy this for sli if I was gaming at more than single screen 1080p. |

i have this exact card and it is amazing! It runs at 56c while gaming for hours and i tried pushing it via overclocking and man does this thing fly. i used msi afterburner and raised the core voltage to max, the power target to max, the core clock to +150 and the memory clock to +400. Ran Unigine Heaven and it passed perfectly....the best part is it only went to 60c. I was able to bump the core to +180 before it failed. at +170 it was running at 1314mhz. the card comes stock at 915mhz. that's a huge overclock. and the absolute highest temp i saw was 62c. i am running a custom fan profile so whatver temp the card is the fans will run that percentage....ex: if the card is 60c the fans are running at 60%. I literally can't hear them at all. even when putting my ear up to the pc. Buy this card. i would buy a second if i lived near frys.
