If the car is started every day, I never hear the lifter. Only hear it when it sits longer than a week.

Yup, SOA replaced my tranny at 3,000 miles cause I busted it and I just replaced a clutch at 35,000 miles. They aren't built super strong, my other car was a C6 corvette and I could slam gears in that all day no problem, this car requires finesse and I'm not a finesse driver so I pay the price.

Oh wow. Just replaced my first clutch at 60k. Something about a throwout barring causing premature clutch wear. Sadly my car has been out of warranty for some time now.

my buddies camry had 125k miles on it... ran RP for 9k miles without chaning filter or oil out or adding any ..... when he changed the oil at 9k, he saved a sample and sent it int to an independent company that cahrged like 80 bux to test the oil. they sent back detailed results and it showed the expected oil change was 3k more miles.....

so in short, he could have gone 12k miles without having to change his oil without any damage...

A while back there was a pep boys coupon where you got 5 qts and a filer for 30 even..... i picked up about 200 quarts going to multiple stores over a couple weeks... o have used about half of it so far.... might take advantage of this to stock up a little more..
