I recently got one of these from Cowboom to match my Note 2. Love this tablet, and I've used quiet a few brands and quite a few OS's.
Cannot go wrong with this thing!
The IR with the Pace App. controls my tv, dvr, blu-ray and soundbar. Pretty awesome touchscreen remote!
It is a YMMV situation. People did report success for the previous tab 2 deal.
resolution is not so good. i'd go w/ the nexus 10.
True, but there are pros and cons to both. The stylus is the obvious one. The ability to use SD cards in the Note may be the decider for some.
Nexus 10 appeals to Andoid purists that love spec-bragging rights, especially over the iPads, but the Note is a much more higher-end looking/feeling unit in build quality (though both are made by Samsung) that appeals to people who don't wish to be short-changed in how it looks and feels.
It is sort of like the MB vs BMW decision.
Personally, I think the iPad is still the better tablet overall in the 10" tablet category while the 7" android tablets are the ones to have for the advantages they have over the 10" tablets for certain uses. At the moment.
Golden Rule of a Deal: If an item has been offered validly at a price of $X at any time, then never pay more than that in the future. It has been discontinued or will appear again at that price soon enough.
If you guys are really interested in this, I would find out how much it cost at Costco (479.99 - $40 coupon book = $439.99 ) and PM that. Hopefully, you get it for $439.99 and get the $100 GC with it. It's a really nice tablet.
Just come back from Costco at Santa Clara CA and they have Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1 with S-pen and sleeve for $429 after instant coupon. Yeah, it is weird that even cheaper than the coupon book price.
Sorry that I forgot to take a photo to prove that.
That's funny. I remember back in college, Samsung and LG known for making fans - like the ones that blow in air in your face because you couldn't afford an air conditioner. But now, Samsung and LG are top brands.
I didn't think android had too many apps that really supported that resolution.
As long as the app was developed following Google's guidelines, the app will work just fine at that or any other resolution. Either way, I don't think I've found an app that wasn't supported by my Nexus 10
