You're getting what you pay for with these guys. Ive always had poor quality or dying flowers delivered with them.

FWIW, I had a very good experience with these guys a few years back, and as a clueless teenager who had no idea what he was doing, I really appreciated that. Flowers came and were happy and healthy.

Proflowers are cheats!
you cannot use the livingsocial deal with the deal above. You have to buy flowers from the living social section on ProFlowers page. I brought the living social coupon and when it came to check out they wanted to charge me $24.85 or so additional!!! Screw that shit!!! I give my money to a local seller and support them. |

Don't they just partner with local florists? isn't it really on the florist then? perhaps they figure "proflowers and ftd are giving us such low margins we'll send out the less desirable ones and then people might give up on internet flower orders and just go local instead"?

I used the living social coupon with this? I searched for the item code (8096) and found it that way. Once you get to the check out page for entry, you have to input the code a couple times. The next page will ask for your CC info again (also takes a couple of times). Cannot use any other promo code with this order. I did shopdiscover to regain the 20% Cash Back. Hoping it still works. GOOD LUCK!

Rather than having local branches everywhere, surely they "outsource" this to florists across the country? In which case if the flowers are crappy, it's more the fault of the local florist?

normal delivery was ok , but i'll stick with local florist to guarantee time and quality (it's $5 per rose though

If anyone isn't clear, these are delivered via fedex in a box, not a florist delivery service. Very unclassy for a valentines gift IMO. If you are going to do this, have them delivered to you, then hand give them to your lovely lady.

I have had nothing but success with ProFlowers. On the rare times they sent flowers which weren't fresh for at least a week, I've called them and they sent a fresh bouquet, no questions asked. Thanks OP, I usually cheap out on the roses and the delivery on V-day but this is a great deal.
