I've had decent success with their flowers. Their customer services was very helpful. The one time I had questionable flowers, they sent me a new order for free (so my wife got flowers twice but I only paid once... win win).

The price on the flowers is good but you lose some of the value on the high shipping.

Personally I go to Costco. You can get 2 dozen roses that are very nice for under $20. But we work for the same company so I can have them purchases, cut up, and in a vase before she gets in. Like delivery but without the cost.

If you don't work for the same company then you don't have that benefit. But I trust proflowers through past experience enough to know that if I don't like what they send me.... they will fix it and send another order for no additional cost.

On quality: I'm in a long distance relationship. My girlfriend lives in Chicago and Proflowers have always done a great job on my orders. I assume performance is correlated to location for all these flower vendors.

Man, the price gouging that happens on Valentine's Day on roses. A florist near me posts their prices on a dozen roses on a billboard outside the store....all year round $14.99-19.99....the days around Valentine's day...$49.99! I even bought them one time (along with a whole line of other suckers) because I was desperate....and they were very poor quality. Fortunately for me, the Mrs. doesn't like roses.

i have never had problems with proflowers. ordered some for my sweetie!

So on the link provided by OP, its 12 roses plus 12 free, but no vase. A vase is $9.99. But if you select the other radio button option, its 24 roses, plus chocolates, plus a free vase, for 7.95 more. Am I missing something, or is that not the better deal?

Correct. One time they even connected me to the local florist who handled the delivery.

For Valentine's Day at least get florist delivered flowers.

Mail order is so impersonal.

Unless you live in an area where there is no florist.
