If CA can justify firing a teacher for previously having done pr0n, then surely they can fire Crunk Bear  Edit: saw the photos and she's hot. If I were her student, I would support her too.

Agreed. this was very poor judgement on her part and she should face the consequences. suspended with pay, and getting a lot of attention...

Of course it is OK. An employer can fire an at-will employee for any legal reason including moral turpitude.

 What I will say however is that if you're stupid enough to post shit like that on-line for everyone to see I'm not really sure you have the wherewithal I would like a teacher to have. |

agreed, for sure, but so many seem to be fine with things like this these days. Clearly poor judgment and poor character. she should be fired and her credentials revoked. that way, if she is serious about teaching, it will be a long, difficult process for her to redeem herself. her twit account was closed, but google has her stuffed cached. really provocative pictures and pics of her smoking pot. they are on the web forever.
of course her students think it is "cool", awesome, and a little weird". they are in high school, and she is closer to their age group than that of most of her colleagues. |
