It is a parody. I think we better give her the benefit of the doubt on this until all the facts come out. I'm pretty sure I knew of more interesting things in the world by the time I was that age.
On a side note, has anyone else noticed the number of times Aurora Colorado has been in the news lately? Every since the theater shooting. Maybe I'm just noticing it because I have family there now. Which segues to my next point. Next time I'm visiting I might need to hire a math tutor to help me freshen up my differential equations and vector calculus.
She made a parody of stupid teachers by being a stupid teacher herself, which happened to involve being stupid in her interactions with students? They should make a parody about firing her by firing her. From what I understand, there are plenty of teachers looking for jobs right now, it shouldn't be hard to find one that won't be drawing stupid attention to herself.
According to OP's article, her friends had access to the account and posted pics as well. Which sucks for her, but she's kinda responsible for it being her name on the line. It's not like the account was set up completely anonymously and she didn't know about it.
Teachers (and others in public position) are forced to have an interesting relationship with social media. I find it best to remain abstinent (or close to it) and others agree with me. For some people, that kinda sucks. But it's something that you need to accept comes with the job. Sorta like if you're a superstar athlete, you can't go out to Disney World without people recognizing you and mobbing you (unless you rent out the park). But I know tons of teachers who are afraid of pics of them getting posted. Plenty of stories of colleagues who've asked friends to take down pics where they're in the background drinking a beer -- even though they're of legal drinking age. Simply the "better safe than sorry" bit.

Is anyone genuinely saying that this woman is really fit to be teaching our youth? The problem isn't teachers in general, the problem is apparently not properly vetting them
Personally, I'm interested in keeping other people from building Utopia, because the more you believe you can create heaven on earth the more likely you are to set up guillotines in the public square to hasten the process. -- James Lileks
Is anyone genuinely saying that this woman is really fit to be teaching our youth?
A lot are saying she is protected by the 1st, and should not lose her job.

And that argument can go back to the joke colleges are becoming. When the wife got certified, they were discussing proper interactions with students, and one girl raised her hand to ask, "But if their 18, it's ok right??". She didn't seem convinced when they told her no.
