Pretty darn good deal no matter what the haters say. Toshiba's have great picture and any 32" quality LED for $200 is a steal no matter how you spin it. Nice post.

Wish 1080p instead of 720p but $200 is good deal. I'll wait though =)

Agreed. I don't have this specific Toshiba but I had picked up the previous model years 40". Honestly wasn't originally looking to Toshiba for a decent TV but the pricing got my attention then, so I went and checked it out. Ended up taking a chance and brought one home. Have had this TV since last November. LOVE IT. Very nice picture quality and so far, very reliable. Even had a few nice features I wasn't expecting on a 'value' TV. Certainly changed my attitude towards Toshiba for a TV. Just my two cents.

The Data Sheet at TD's site, says this is Edge LED Backlight Technology, so what does that mean?

I'm still waiting on a drop on the price for a Samsung UN32EH4003, which I think is the superior TV. Missed the deal from FRYS the other day.

Although 199.99 is really low for a 32" for any brand. Think I should jump on this and ditch the Sammy?

Alright, first post updated and I actually ordered the TV. I was honestly on the fence before the extra $20 coupon and 5% Discover CB (which may be denied). For the record we were at +10 TU before anyone had said anything about the extra 20% and DCB.

FWIW, the Toshiba customer service is the WORST I've ever experienced. Bought a 50" LED from Toshiba Direct; HDMI port was bad; 3 weeks of phone calls, which went to the Phillipines each time; 1 week of phone calls to CA offices, and EVENTUALLY got my money back.

Initially I was looking for an exchange. By the end of all of that BS, I was done. Seriously, amazingly bad. See their Facebook page before you buy; I wish I did.

I bought this last year, except in 1080. I don't use it much because I have it mounted above my 60" DLP for sporting events, but it does a very nice job. Crisp, clean, easy to mount, etc. Just play with the settings to get the perfect pic for your setting, just as you would any other TV purchase.
