According to the most current reviews on TD's site, they seem pretty stable. The SandForce controller that this drive (and many other drives) used historically had issues, but this product is now very mature in its life cycle. All the firmware tweaks and updates have pretty much resolved all of the SandForce controller's stability woes.

Nice price. Is this backward compatible with SATA II?

read some of the reviews... people taking off eggs because it doesn't come with a SATA cable, it doesnt work better with AHCI (vs. SATA/IDE... if your motherboard doesn't support AHCI, it's time to get a new motherboard vs. a SSD...), and finally this review:

Also noticing that some of the 4 egg reviews have no cons... I don't know what they're dinging it for then? Maybe the MSRP?
