You can save a couple bucks and get these from the same vendor "refurbished" on ebay. YMMV, but mine arrived brand new in sealed package. Pretty sure its a liquidation, not a refurb.

There's two versions VM sells, one is for sure a refurb model which we had a couple times on FP then this one is brand new retail packaging

I had hoped HHGregg had these in stock yesterday, but instead they price matched Amazon's $20.49 price on some JVC HA-RX500s. I am happy enough with them for now.
