I wondered that too.. but I realized TVs likely don't qualify as Academic products

I need a TV for my college dorm room? (Just kidding I'm a college student but I own my house) This beast of a TV would never fit in a dorm.

Yes the driver was very helpful. The funny thing is, cost central will ask if u want to pay $75 to have the driver drop the rear lift of the truck down or $175 to have that and the driver bring the TV in the house for u. I opted out of that ridiculousness, but the delivery guy did both for me anyway for free. Once we got it in the house, he took off the top of the box and allowed me to inspect to make sure everything was fine. Like I said b4, I had a great experience and would order from them again, this deal was super slick.

Dw, how heavy is the box and how big? Is the TV really big for a 60"? I decided this over a 55" and hope that my living will fit it. Also, how long did it take you to get the TV shipped?

The box is bigger than most that you would see for a 60 inch. It is about 18" x 58" x 37" (W x L x H) and weighs 90 lbs. There is quite a bit of foam in the box, which is a good thing.

As for the actual TV, its measurements are:
TV with stand (Width x Height x Depth): 54.9-Inch x 36.3-Inch x 13.8-Inch, TV without stand (Width x Height x Depth): 54.9-Inch x 32.8-Inch x 1.9-Inch

Same thing happened for me. It didnt matter, when my tv got to my city the carrier called me to set up delivery time. I placed my order on the 6th and delivery was the 14th, I could have got the 11th cause that's when they called me, but I couldn't be home til the 14th. The carrier that delivered mine was Myers freight and I'm in Tampa, yours may different.
