I bought one similar boat on Amazon a couple years ago. As a Hobby Grade user these boats will blow anything you buy at WalMart or Toys R US out of the water. Just don't expect 20 MPH + like $300+ boats you can buy from hobby stores. Also these are made from a flexible ABS plastic so it wont take a ton of abuse if you keep hitting solid objects on the water. Another tip is silicone some styrofoam in it to safegaurd sinking it if you plan on using it at the lake. You will prob have to replace the batt after a year though it is not that great of a unit but Lipos are cheap
 .
