For $300 you get a better deal than the 5.1 Take Classic System that has made it to the front page several times since you get a 10" Sub instead of the 8" sub in the 5.1 set.

I'll probably just flip the Onkyo Speaks I bought yesterday and keep the receiver. I did get the woofer as well, which also received extremely good reviews, even at the $300 price.

Still a good price on the Take Classic 5.0, but I would pair it up with the Pioneer SW-8 at newegg for $69.99, which is pretty much a clone of the ESW-8 that comes in the 5.1 package to save some more money. http://www.newegg.com/Product/Pro...6882117402 knowing is half the hassle

For those who missed out: Monoprice has this unit (which I'm pretty sure is the same just rebranded) but with the standard 8" subwoofer. Check out the reviews http://www.monoprice.com/products...1&format=2
