Finally got this all set-up and like it quite a bit. Paired it with the $200 AVR1700 and have been really happy so far.

Hey guys, just reporting back, I ended up flipping the Onkyo TIB that was featured here on SD, and stuck with this setup. I also bought a Denon 1612 (with Audyssey MultEQ) refurb for $200 from accessories4less.com.
I was leaning towards returning the speaks and the sub and saving up for something better, but after hooking up the receiver, running the MultEQ setup, and watching the last half of Avengers, I think I'll be happy for several years until I can really spend some $$ on my HiFi. Thanks again OP. |
