Meh I work with wood, I ride motorcycles, and I play with Legos from time to time. It's all good fun, just depends on what you want to do. Legos are also useful for making mockups since they come in standard units. Just assign one block = 1 foot or whatever you want.
If Legos aren't 'adult' enough for you, then move on. You made an ignorant statement, so own up to it instead of trying to deride those who called you out on it. Also I don't recall a scenario where Legos ever came in big buckets (though I know you can buy them as such). I've always had to get the sets, and then you build those, get bored of them, tear them down and make something new. If a kid wants to build the Brandenburg Gate, more power to him. He'll likely turn it into a rocket ship in a week or two. That's how Legos work. |

Mod alerted for trolling. Yeah, as a matter of fact legoland is pretty awesome. Can't wait to take my nephews.

Been to Brandenburg Gate with hubby so bought one for him for Valentine's day gift as he's struggling with hand "festination" due to a chronic disease so I'm hopeful that he will be able to manipulate these pieces enough to put together the structure. This gift should help in building new synapses as well as training his fingers to move in ways they're not used to moving.
Thanks OP, reps to you and thumbs up! I had no idea these structures existed. |
