Yes. It would run it pretty decently too. I think High with 4xAA at 1080P would be no problem for it.

you forgot to mention what resolution, but 1080p it will play it on high. I have mine on ultra with i5 3570k OC'd to 4.3 and a 2gb 7850 OC'd to 1150 and its deff playble, I think I have AA off though?

Wow thanks OP! Sell the games at $40-50 each and after rebate, your looking at a $85 (if you sell at $40) 7850 2, not 1, GB card, slick! Upgrading from a 4870 1GB to this and about time.

Probably, but I doubt the cost would be worth it. I have a fairly cheap MOBO. It works fine, but I have a feeling pushing to a 7900 series wouldn't do much. Thanks though!

assuming I am selling bundled games, can anyone recommend buying between this and
ASUS 660ti (it comes with AC3 and BL2 game coupons, fry's deal priced at $240 AR)?

660ti : 260 - 20 (mir) - 35 (games) = 205
7950: 340 - 90 (games) = 250

(It looks the only 7950 that has TWO dual link dvi is ASUS's .. )

I am running 2560 x 1440 monitor (and can't go over $300 budget).

the motherboard only makes a tiny difference.

A 7850 may still be OK for you but you should do some research to see if you should upgrade at all. Here is one example:

Thanks OP now I just need to get almost every other part of system. Im planning on putting this in the Antec NSK2480 matx case [amazon.com] with something along the lines of this config [pcpartpicker.com]. Do you guys think this card will fit the case? The card says it is 4.4"ish wide while the case says it is 5ish. I have a microcenter kinda close so I was thinking of getting the amd cpu there or maybe the one of the two intel bundles that they have right now. It is a pain looking for a matx mobo that doesnt suck and doesnt cost an arm or leg. Anyone have any input on any other parts I might have missed.
