Yeah, but who the hell says "regular non-blu ray version" when referring to DVD.

If its the DVD version, just say "dvd version".

Why stop at "non-blu ray", why not take it further, like:

For the non-radioactive, non-poisonous, non-vhs, non-foreign, non-gold-plated, non-braille, non-4k, non-bluray version.

In a thread about 3d blu rays, the only "non" that would make sense would be "non-3d blu ray" as opposed to the 3d blu ray.

If its "non-3d and non-bluray" then its just a dvd

Almost every dvd that ive bought over the last 2 years was a mistake. I save money at first, but then a year later I see the blu ray version for LESS than I paid for the dvd, and then I go out and get the blu ray.

I might as well just pay the higher price for bluray if im buying it when released, or just buy the blu ray version a year after it comes out.

Ive got way too many dvds and blurays of the same movie.

that is the worst case, the next worst is having to actually watch the DVD knowing for another couple of bucks you can have the best quality version of the movie available. period.

I did get a price match at BB. Little over $5 for the Blu-ray. Great price IMO

would get one if it was was both blu-ray + 3d version (+dvd would be nice also)

AFAIK it is both 2D and 3D on 1 BD just like Monster House. I ordered Cloudy 3D for I think the same price from Tiger Direct months ago, and AFAIK it said "also includes 2D version" on it.

Amazing they would match it. They told me it's not all online stores but just major competitors like Amazon, Newegg, and places with B&M stores nearby. Tiger Direct wasn't included. But with all things Worst Buy it's YMMV. Somebody will always get a deal while others will always be denied. If it were any other way, it wouldn't be Worst Buy.
