Completely untrue. While I agree it makes sense for women to buy them because they mostly do put them in their purses, I know a lot more men who own the Note II than women. If you have a corporate job, and/or work in IT like I do, these are very popular among men.

However, I will probably upgrade through WalMart from now on since they don't charge tax on the full price of the phone, even if you are in CA.

I got BB to PM in store. There was no hassle at all. I brought in a printout of the deal, he looked at it, and eventually the manager had to come glance at it and approve the PM, but it was very smooth with no problems at all. The $50 GC came off automatically, but the BB employee knew about the deal ahead of the time and asked if we signed up for it and were expecting them.

I should also mention I walked into the store 15 minutes before they were closing to get this deal. This may or may not have helped. I could tell they wanted to get this done quickly so they could get us out and close the place up. Might be worth a shot at doing the same.

I didn't do the 2500 bonus points deal...at least to my knowledge. I did put whatever points I earned toward my BBRW# but I didn't check to see how many points it was.

No - mine were indeed upgrades. I've been with Verizon for 6 years and stuck with them due to their coverage in my area. At the time I got my deal, Dell had BOTH Verizon upgrades and new contracts listed for $129 w/ $50 Dell gc. BB gladly matched the deal.

Went in to Bestbuy today to upgrade 3 lines on ATT. Called earler to verify they'll price match Galaxy S3 from Walmart.com for $9.99. Waited 45 minutes to find out they changed their policy on March 2nd, to exclude contract phones. F the $50 GC, F Bestbuy, I'm not spending my money there.

Called ATT, on the way home, they not only matched the price, they went further, they're sending me S3s for free. Well, not free, I had to pay taxes. When I asked if they'll match Note 2 price of $230, the nice CSR named Heather apologized and said they couldn't. When I checked the order confirmation email, however, it showed a different item number for the third line. Called another CSR, and she told me it's the Note 2, and wanted to know if the order was incorrect. I asked her what color it was and told her I'd keep it after confirming it is in Marble White. I'll keep my fingers crossed and wait eagerly for the FedEx guy laugh out loud
