I have the same question. It does say that you can register a landline number as well, so Im not sure if that would work for new lines.

So my phone is up for another 2 year registration with VZ and thus could get a discounted phone. The problem is that yesterday while I was messing with see the final price for a iphone5 32G, VZ said my old plan unlimited data is no longer available and also that they would charge me some stupid fee $40 or so for getting on a new plan.
The questions I have are:
-How can I still keep the unlimited grandfather plan?
-Should there be any additional charge besides 299 + tax?

If you buy a subsidized (i.e.: discounted) phone, they they will switch you to the new plan pricing. There is no way around this that I know of. If you keep your current phone, or buy a phone at retail and replace your existing phone without extending your contract, then you should be able to keep your existing plan

Everyone should sign up...doesn't hurt. I used this with the $50 off $100 Mastercard deal. Iphone 5 was on sale for $149 that day as well. I ended up getting the Iphone 5 for $53.65 out the door (including tax).

Does Bestbuy have secondary ETF like Amazon Wireless, Target, and Radoshack. I heard they don't, but would like to confirm with others to take advantage of the loophole.

No. I believe the employees work for the providers. But I know that they don't have secondary etf.
