Are you sure that one has lifetime updates? I don't see that in the description.

"TM" should mean free lifetime traffic and maps. Here is that same model at Amazon:

The one in Amazone is TomTom XL 335TM and from Walmart is TomTom XL 335SE TM they are seem different. Does any one know what's the different? Please tell

Hope that TomTom has improved their map/directions since I last used it ~3+ years ago. Traveling from NJ to Long Island TomTom would try to route me *through midtown Manhattan*. Something like "Lincoln Tunnel, across Manhattan, down a few blocks, and through the Queens Midtown tunnel to the LIE". It was utterly ridiculous, and Google Maps knew better than to do that, but for some reason my TomTom had no concept of "horrible NYC traffic".

Now I just use Android's Nav.

Price mistake by merchant, SDers with "something for nothing" mentality jump on it and place orders by the dozens, merchant then cancels orders, SDers with plenty of free time start filing complaints with BBB, FTC, Consumer Affairs, The Consumerist etc and start crying and flooding their neighborhood with alligator tears like how they we cheated out of something that was their god given right by this merchant, other SD lambs join them in support and add their own sappy story to the mix, they all hug and console each other praising capitalism and their right to something for nothing and how such mentality has made this country so great, they hold hands and celebrate their unreasonable greed in unison, then over time they disperse after flooding that particular SD forum with tons of cry-me-a-river comments. The episode then goes down in SD history as brutal, scarring experience to these SDers, they all promise to never deal with the merchant again, and then get ready to waste time, energy, resources on some other non-existent deal.

Does anyone know if Tomtom's have a "avoid/prefer highways" setting? I had this on a old no name GPS and loved it. My current Garmin does not have this feature and I can't understand why. If I'm on the west side of a major city and want to get to the east side, it will route me through downtown, 100 traffic lights, traffic, 50 turns, small alleys, when I could just take the major highway around and be 10 times faster with less hassle. I live near a highway, and sometimes if I want to get to a place near me, it will take me out of the way onto the highway to get somewhere that going direct would be way faster. Either way, I miss that option for such a setting and having a little control over the route. If Tomtom has hat, I would jump.
