Is the pizza maker like an actual oven, not a second microwave? So I can put aluminum or some metal baking pan and it wouldn't blow up?

Metal in a microwave is mostly a myth. If anyone read the instructions that came with their microwave they'd find small sheets of aluminum foil are often recommended to shield poultry legs and wings. Loosely balling up a sheet of foil will just create a pretty light show. The main danger of metal in a microwave is if it gets too close to the sides, which are also metal, it could arc and damage the microwave but it won't blow up.

The deal is on and off. Before midnight PST, the web site listed the sale price, but the cart was regular price.
After midnight, it changed the price to the sale price and I ordered one. Now it's off. Last edited by Craig234; 02-04-2013 at 04:12 AM.. |

Chatted with Sears, they confirm it's over but can't say when it ended, why it was 'half on' last night, why it's changing price between 12am and 4am.

Just FYI, for those of you that bought this. Look carefully at the microwave when you unpack it. There is a very slick and perfectly applied sheet of clear plastic wrapping every exterior surface. You will need to remove it before using the oven. It may be sealing off the exhaust vent or might simply melt around the drawer.
If I ever find myself in the Matrix I am going to try to hook up with Selma!

Sears charged me the full price and I need to get price adjusted. Does anyone by chance have the screen shot showing the sale price? Sears is playing games like they don't know that they had it listed at $129 price.

for those that missed this deal but still want this microwave(like me) the seller on ebay(was linked above) has resisted this microwave at $136(Free shipping) which if tax in my state(MA) is considered would only be $4 more than the Sears deal and i dont have to waste gas picking it up. Has 1 year warranty as well -
