About 2 weeks ago, ebay had couple of this units for $129.99 shipped and wonder why they can sell it at sears daily deal price.

Bought this unit 5+ years ago for $229. We LOVE it! We bake everything in it. The microwave is a bit weak but the oven is unreal. Biscuits, pizza, casseroles, baked dinners, reheating leftovers etc. The oven is instant hot so it is WAY better than a normal oven. Set it to 300-425 degrees and go. BUY THIS THING

Doesn't look like it has a carousel in the microwave side so heating could be uneven.

Is there anyone who has this (and/or another product from Sears w/warranty) who knows if the extra 2/3 year warranty/protection plan from Sears is worth it? Are they good to work with over things like this? I've generally not been a fan of extended service plans. Bad experiences with BB.

I was shopping for a new Microwave not long ago, and checked Consumer Reports, and found Kenmore was walking away with the top ratings. This was THE oven to get.
But I'd just missed a black friday deal and have been watching it - and here it is. I've never seen people post such good comments for a microwave - buying one. Just prefer it shipped, have to see what that costs. |
