it's really well built...beautiful chassis with the brushed alum...very stylish and sturdy...plus you get the touch screen...you'll never serf the web the same again...and with win 8 it's a paradigm shift in interacting with your OS... |

Damn it, I missed my opportunity. I really want to replace my current notebook (Aspire one 722). I'm tired of this slow ass processor not being able to handle HD streaming, but once you go 11.6 inches you never want to go bigger... no homo

I got the laptop today. There was a hard drive partition D that was not formatted which makes me feel this is a open box or refurbished laptop. Any one else received the laptop and see any issues like this?

If you bought this laptop and hate the touchpad, remove the Asus touch gesture drivers and download the oem 11.7.2.1 elantech drivers from samsung. The elantch drivers make the touchpad work so much better/smoother, especially when scrolling/swiping.

Waiting and hoping this deal comes around again at this price. Staples has their version for $425 after coupon this week, but tax kills it.

I didn't like this either. The good thing is that it's easy to remove the partition and make it one large C drive, which is what I did. There is plenty of free software that will let you do just that in only a couple of minutes. I'll link to one piece of software that will let you merge these two drives. Word of caution: Don't do this until you are very clear that you understand what you are doing, or else you could delete the operating system.
