UPDATE: Lowes Samsung 25.7 cu ft French Door Refrigerator (White or BLACK) $796 F/S YMMV

Just picked up this Samsung 25.7 cu ft French Door Refrigerator (White) model RF268ABWP today at my local Lowes on clearance. Go to the product page http://www.lowes.com/pd_309587-14...Id=3116919 and check to see if any local stores have any stock. My local Lowes called upon receiving my order and they informed me that the one that was showing in stock was the floor model. I went to the Lowes and confirmed the unit was in good shape and proceeded with the order. Apparently there is a newer model ($2,599) of this unit coming in (RF263TEAEWW) and they are clearing out remaining stock. Purchased online with free truck delivery, my price break down was as follows:

MSRP: $2,599

Clearance: $796
- $79.60 (10% off Lowes mover coupon)

$716.40 Total before tax, free store truck delivery.

The unit is Energy Star rated and has good reviews on Lowes.com. By far the cheapest French Door refrigerator I was able to find with these features. Since my unit was a floor model I added Lowes 4 year Extended Protection Plan for $109.97.

Again probably a BIG YMMV, but a great find if you can get it.

It appears Lowes.com will only offer the 4 year extended warranty for $150. Some of us were able to add this to our purchase via a second transaction in store for $109.97 (Lowe's item #: 359153 "4yr EPP MAJ APPL $500-$999")

Be sure to check your local power company for any applicable rebates for purchasing an Energy Star rated appliance. Some also offer state sponsored recycling incentives/ rebates to get rid of your old refrigerator.

Some of us that have scored the deal have gotten floor units and some of us have gotten brand new units. It varies store to store for the few stores that still have this model in stock. There is no way to tell on Lowes.com if a unit is a floor model or not.
