There may be more ymmv stainless steel deals in the near future as apparently appliance makers (GE and Whirlpool as an example) are looking to phase them out as they see it as a fad and have already introduced new lines (colors).

If you're wanting stainless steel to match current accompanying appliances then go for it. However if you're wanting stainless steel to decorate a kitchen with an updated look then you may want to look in another direction.

Not saying stainless steel is out. Just saying it might not be THE thing in the near future.

Stainless steel is like granite countertops, not everyone loves it but it looks damn' good.

I am in NJ and there are 2 near me (One in Newton NJ and one in Paterson NJ). I would bet both are floor samples so anyone interested should look at them first to see the condition they are in. I don't need a white fridge but a really good deal.

A heads up to anyone who would do the 4 year extended protection plan, Lowes.com had this listed for $150 (still reflecting the original high price point of the model). Customer service in store was able to sell this to me for $109, as that is the going rate for major appliances priced $500-$999

pretty different fridge from the one posted here.
1. someone who "needs/requires" a french door style will likely not cross shop a side by side.
2. yours is only a stainless door on a black fridge. those look stupid unless you have full depth counters. if not the black sides stick out like a sore thumb.
3. yours is a kenmore not a samsung.

Just called and the rep told quoted me $150 even after I'd insisted that for fridges priced at $500-$999 is $109. Did you call lowes.com or the store customer service?

The Appliance department manager recommended the plan and the in store service desk rang it up as they were processing my online order. They rang it up as a separate transaction for item #: 359153 "4yr EPP MAJ APPL $500-$999".
