I too am waiting for the T4i with 135stm lens. Back pre xmas it hit $799 on amazon. Waiting for something to drop below that mark and I will grab it.

Looking to buy my wife a nice DSLR camera as she has wanted one for awhile? Is this a really good deal or can you do better? Looks like the overall value is in the $950-1000 range if you bought it retail? I never buy anything at retail pricing so looking for someone who has a little more understanding of these products?

I have the 18-135mm STM and it is a very good lens. The only thing I don't like about it is that the focus ring is digital and there is a slight lag when you turn the focus ring.

There is no warranty on this product ? i thought i ll have canon 1 yr warranty. Now i got a mail saying ' i can get 3 yrs warranty frm squaretrade ' for 90$ !!!!!!!!!!!!! |

This only about $50 cheaper than the price Amazon has had for awhile with the lens rebate (which seems to be gone now). Also, this deal includes a bag and lens filter and dust blower, so that adds a little more value. I would really like the 18-135 STM, but that is still 850
 With some reservations I decided to pull the trigger and repped. Definitely the best price around for what you get. Now I need to go find some accessories... Sandisk extreme 32gb seems to come highly recommended as the price / performance winner so I'll probably pick one of those up from amazon or newegg. Anyone recommend any must have accessories?? |
