Omega 8006 Nutrition Center Juicer $210 or Less + Free Shipping

new to juicer, can anyone please tell me if this juicer can homogenize vege&fruits we put in without have lots of extracts left. Saw Youtube, people use the extracts to bake cakes. If we don;t use the extracts, which we will waste lots of vegetables and fruits. Am I right?

I have a Vitamix. Is it worth trying a juicer? Some things can have too much pulp. I suppose I could get a strainer and avoid the cleaning hassle of the juicer.

You will get varying amounts of pulp depending on the original water content. The pulp is mostly fiber. If you are just trying to get the nutrients, juicing is not wasteful.

VRT330HD is for green juices..my own apple juice or any other commercially made juice but your in control...basically when you just don't want fiber

You can juice to some degree in the Vitamix and use a nut milk bag or similiar product to strain the juice from the fiber

Here's a link [some-like-it-raw.com] to a good article about the differences between juicing and blending (i.e. Vitamix). Both have their pro's and con's and which one you should get is relative to your wants and needs.

This forum seems to be turning into a Vitamix vs. juicer debate. That's kind of silly. Each has it's advantages and disadvantages. That said, this is a great deal on the Omega 8006 slow juicer, which is one of the better masticating juicers in this price range. Masticating juicers are better than the less expensive centrifuge juicers (i.e. Breville) because you get a lot more juice from fruits and vegetables and they don't produce as much heat so the juice doesn't oxidize as fast and the enzymes aren't compromised.
