I have the A500, I'm rather disappointed on how it's aged. I've updated to ICS and as the apps keep updating the devices just keeps getting slower and slower.

We have 2 A500 that both updated to ICS. Both works very well. However, I am not sure if the A501 can be updated to ICS or not.

User Beware
cheap components ... check Amazon ...some 9% of the units failed within 1-1/12 years and they want $199.00 to fix |

Buyer Beware ..cheap components
My A500 stopped working 1 month out of warranty (power switch) . Acer wants $199 to repair.Check Amazon... some 9% of the A500's seem to fail within 13 to 16 months |

Run away from All4cellular. I ordered this A501 from them. What I received was an opened demo unit. I was expecting to receive a manufacturer-refurbished, factory-sealed box. They sell the same item on eBay where they properly marked it as "seller-refurbished".
