Oh, try reading a book or a schematic design, resolution difference is immediately noticeable. |

thats the main reason I got the TF700. everything is clearer. also even if you game. try playing say GRAVE DEFENSE, DEFENSE ZONE 2 HD, SENILE 3 HOME WORLD. when you zoom out all the way to the battlefiled. you see everything clearer and need to zoom in and out less. but I would say 1280x800 is still enough for most folks. as most apps I tried doesn't really take advantage of high resolution display anyway. =================================
My days as a sales person @ bestbuy Customer: This stupid phone I bought last week won't work right Me: So it's the phone thats stupid and not you right? Customer: I'm looking for an easy way to access my media files with my laptop when I'm in the yard. Me: Sports Authority is having a sale on walking shoes. |

I have this tablet and love it. Yes, there's some light bleeding that you can see if you're looking at a black screen. But, to me, it's not all that noticeable.
A Jelly Bean update was released around the holidays, and it makes this already responsive tablet run even better. It is not rootable. That's disappointing, but actually hasn't been much of an issue for me. Oh, and Gameloft games aren't officially compatible with this. From what I understand, they aren't compatible with any Tegra 3 based device. |

My only issue is that it only has a 90 day warranty on a refurb and it is a company that I never heard of, meaning that the probability of them honoring the 90 day warranty is about the same as getting a warranty from the guys selling stereo equipment from the back of their van.

This is just "FULL" HD all over again. As if I need a 2048 x 1536 resolution to read E-books, or Reddit. Sure, some stuff looks better at that resolution but it's not like we should just chuck everything that isn't 280ppi because it's trash now. |

This res is perfectly fine. The higher res androids are "nicer" but usually much more $. Plus the high res tabs suck up more juice, so you need a larger battery to get the same runtime.
and, MANY android apps are not even designed for 1200x800 let alone a something higher. |

This means: No root, no cyanogenmod, no AOKP, no development community. When Toshiba is done providing updates, you'll never see another new Android release. |
