I am not a Niners fan so care less they lost. I agree they had ample chances to win the game and failed. However, that shouldn't excuse poor officiating. And you are plain wrong on some points. First, not all analysts are in agreement. In fact, the opposite is true as there is much debate today about the calls, no calls, and inconsistency of the officiating. Second, pass interference is dependent upon a pass being catchable. Illegal contact and defensive holding are not. Niners receivers were illegally contacted and or held twice in the end zone, beyond the legal 5 yard cushion for legal contact, by Raven defensive backs.

As for your pointing out other plays, it supports my contention that the officiating was poor and inconsistent, which is unacceptable for a game of this magnitude. That was my point in the first place. I never said the refs stole the game from the Niners. I said they jobbed the Niners at the end, which means they screwed them from having a fair shot at winning. Whether the Niners would have scored or not had the rules been enforced properly, we'll never know. That is why I called it a Mickey Mouse game, and unfortunately it could've been one for the ages either way.
