Bought this one today at Sears in Mobile, AL. All they had left was the display model, so they knocked off an additional 10%. Got it for $630 plus tax. Thanks, everyone!

Picked mine up tonight at the Kings Plaza Sears in Brooklyn, NY. I asked the kid who rolled it out of the back if they have sold many of them in the last 24 hours. He looked at me like I had two heads and said "since Christmas we haven't sold much of anything. it's dead." I guess that is Sears for you.

I ordered online from Costco last Friday. Can anyone comment on how long it took them to get their TV standard shipping w/ white glove? They changed the status to shipped on Monday but the Home Direct USA tracking page doesn't even show it as picked up yet. Just impatiently waiting and wishing it would've come surprisingly fast.

Well, I tried making another thread, but it disappeared. The Panasonic P55UT50 is now $699 at the Costco B&M at Castleton, Indianapolis. They doubled the rebate until 2/24 from $50 to $100. If you picked up this recently from Costco, it might be worth your while to check your store for a price adjustment!

I didn't have a Costco membership and decided against getting one since I never shop there so this cost almost exactly $900 all-in-all w/ tax, surcharge, and white glove. I'm wondering if there's any justification at this point to cancel and wait for something else, but I'm otherwise okay with it. I just wonder if there's any other deal I could snatch up real soon, but it seems everything's drying up and I just want a TV ASAP. |
