Meh, not very heavy duty of a drill. If you will need to drill holes or drive screws into studs, you might want something with more torque.

If you don't have a corless drill I would hold out for one with more torque and an 18v battery. Just my two cents

As of purchasing this drill last summer, this is my go-to drill 90% of the time. I like that it's very compact, but still has decent torque. The balance and weight are good, and the battery lasts a reasonable time. The LED light comes in handy more often than I thought it would. Great for general tasks, and even takes care of many tasks where I thought I'd need a more powerful drill. On one charge, I hung an entire 8ft x 8ft section of Gladiator GearWall panels, countersinking each hole and driving 2.5" screws into the studs - that's 224 holes/screws if you're counting.

I have an 18V drill, a 19.2V drill, and a corded drill. These days, those sit on the shelf most of the time, and I only pull them out for heavy-duty tasks like drilling 3/4" holes through studs or driving 3" lag screws into hard wood. Now that I have this drill, the others feel so bulky and heavy for general tasks.

TU since this hasn't been on sale in a while, and the flashlight is a nice bonus.

I use this drill daily for commercial A/V integration jobs. It works for 90% of my needs. I use a corded drill for snything this cant handle. It took me three years of many hours each day abusing this thing to shred the clutch/gears. They hold up damn well.

In case it isnt obvious, I was saying that I (basically mount tvs and drill a ton of holes in wood/metal with this.

Nextec is truly my favorite power tool devices series.

Too expensive. This thing comes as free stuff with right angle impact driver. So wait and watch. As for quality, it just works and has adequate power for most of my household work.

I was going to say this. I bought this drill with a free auto hammer, then got the right angle impact driver with a free multi tool for around $50 each. Just wait until craftsman days.
