When I called to give PP my IMEI of my Droid Razr (minus the last digit, of course), she asked me if I was familiar with the programming of a 4g phone. I said yes. This was back on November 26. 4G phones are allowed, but not supported, i.e. you have to know how to flash your 4g phone yourself. They will not assist you in any way.

As far as I know, iPhones are still forbidden on PP.

Many people forget future data as well. Todays 10gb will be tomorrows 15gb I bet. As technology improves I can only image more data being sent and therefore more usage.

It's a Samsung Galaxy S2. Neither was rooted but I did have them shipped to me already flashed to Page Plus by the vendor.

Another quick thought. I love this deal for those people on Craigslist who believe their S3 is still worth $400+. In my area there are a couple of them. Many are $350+. A couple $300+ and rarely under $300. Maybe Craigslist will drop soon. Then again the S4 is right around the corner.

They have all the other major carriers on Cowboom for the SIII for only $40 more, fyi.

Yea it is stupid, I found one for $275 with no accessories so I picked it up and sold my Nexus for $200 $75 for a new phone without extending contract sure why not. Rooted and rocking 4.1.2

I have a grandfathered Alltel Family Plan with unlimited data on Verizon (FRIENDS & FAMILY10 S/P 500). I am using a HTC Incredible still, but have held off upgrading because of this. I generally only use < 400MB/month, but the absolute cheapest new plan on Verizon (after my employee discount) is $20/month more than what I pay now. That would move me from unlimited data to just 300MB/month, but charge me more for the privilege (not to mention a $30 charge just to upgrade!!!). Thanks to the grandfathered "My Circle" and N/WE starting at 7pm, most months my wife and I use < 100 anytime minutes, so its not like we care about that, and we both have unlimited texts.

I live in the sticks, so no other carrier has service. I may eventually just move to prepaid, but I was hoping work would get me off this Blackberry. Then I can port my personal number to Google Voice, and drop my personal phone completely.
