As a vegan, I'd say for the price, it's a pretty decent value with the coupon. I like that tofu and brown rice are options for the meals. The spring rolls are very good too. And let's not forgot the "unlimited" fortune cookies while you wait for the freshly cooked food to arrive. I get water with my meal, but the beverage machine is a pretty cool contraption to try out.

For the downside, I'd say the food is too salty and sugary, but that's to be expected at most Chinese restaurants. Also, since it's something in-between a Panera Bread and a full Chinese restaurant, I think it would be nice if they had wi-fi, but no luck with that yet.

I'm sad to see Chinese restaurants taken over by big corporations, after Chinese immigrant family introduced the concept to the U.S. many years ago. That's why I don't go there very much, but do when these coupons come around. If you just get water with your meal, I can't imagine they make any money off of these purchases.

One strange thing about Pei Wei is that at the end, it's not quite clear about whether a regular tip is expected.
