So... maybe i'll adapt but http://www.rakuten.com seems shitty. Also purchased by a Japanese company wonder how well it will play out long term.

Only one horror story of Rakuten lately... It took my friend's shipment THREE WEEKS to be delivered to the central USA. He said customer support was not helpful.... makes me think twice.

I'm considering paying $10 more more a controller via Amazon because I want my prime shipping and warm fuzzy of the amazon brand/customer support.

In May 2010, Buy.com was acquired by Rakuten, Inc., Japan’s biggest e-commerce company and finalized in July 2010.

There are existing websites like www.rakuten.co.jp. Maybe they want the naming to be consistent across all their business, which I don't think is a good idea for the US market though.

I will wait for this to go on sale on a reputable site such as buy.com

I guess that's good to know? At work we were pronouncing it Ra-Ku-Ten....of course it makes much more sense to know it's pronounced completely different than the spelling!
