How is this compared to OEM?

I usually order it through Amazon, this has not disappoint me yet.

2 for $40

I usually buy the Amazon ones for under $15 and use prime for free ship. Worth it and good never had a compatibility issue.

Don't see why this is such a SD. These are everyday prices for non oem brother compatible toners.

I got this HL2270 DW at Walmart during my son's employee discount day before Xmas. They had a day where everything in the store (including food) was 20% off. I LOADED up that day lol! I looked like one of those people on the Coupon shows....had 3 carts.

I have two in college and we print so many pages. I absolutely gave up on ink printers. Laser is the only way to go. 99.5% of what we print is b/w anyways. So, a wireless b/w laser printer was top of my list that day. We are probably no where near ready for a new cartridge yet, but surely this will keep a couple months. We probably print 30 pages a week. Some weeks more, some weeks less.

I can't believe I waited as long as I did before going laser.

edit: oh, and I had credits from book buyback that covered this and we are on his six month free college Prime, so everything worked out perfect

When I got my 2280, SDers showed me how to get to the printer settings (printer address->General Setup-> and at the 'Replace Toner' prompt, select "Continue". That makes the notifications go away.

Amazon has these compatible ones for $13, regularly.

This is not a good price. I have been buying these on amazon for $10-$12. They aren't the "high capacity" but they last over a year while printing lots of things.

Just a fair waring, make sure you guys know what you are ordering. The TN-350 might or might not work with some printer which will work with the TN-420 or TN-450.

i got this from meritline last time for my HL-2280DW and whenever I would print there would be a faint print of the previous page overlaying the current page, and tried a million things to try and correct it, nothing worked, sent it back to meritline and got refunded my money. I think I will stick to brand name for the time being.

Buyer beware: I bought 2 of these last year from Meritline during one of their sales. The 1st cartridge barely lasted for 100 pages and started streaking. Even after sliding the corona wire side to side and placing the cartridge back, it did the same thing. Only after replacing the cartridge with the 2nd one did the print quality seem to improve to OEM-like states. I think they definitely might have some quality control issues.

I read somewhere on some earlier threads that the Linkyo cartridges are supposed to be better quality. I bought one, but I haven't used it yet.

Not getting why this is FP. Pretty much same price as the 4-pack w/shipping...
