Thread Details

I figure this is a great deal if any of you want to unload a Sprint S3 since I don't even think they go for that much on craigslist! Save yourself the hassle of listing, shipping, selling, and potentially getting stabbed or scammed.

I am a craigslister myself but the shadiest people I have ever met was when I was flipping phones and buying used car audio equipment.. I am definitely more alert now.

if the link doesn't work, you can try this too:

and search for "Galaxy S III"
Some models sell higher then others.

iphone 4s 16GB perfect condition is also $315 or $300 for good condition. You could get $350 for unlocked ones on craigslist thou but then you have to deal with shitty ass people

sorry.. no bad esn phones are accepted.. see the attached screenshot
This info is completely inaccurate. The screen shot is regarding visible IMEI's. I've traded in 4 iphones with bad ESN's to Best Buy in the last year. Best buy only wants to SEE the IMEI....they don't do anything with it nor do they even ask you the question. They inspect the phone, accessories and enter the IMEI on their checkout screen but they don't validate it. If its not visible or the phone wont start for them to see then they wont accept it. They 100% accept bad esn's. More specifically they clear the ESN with Sprint and resell...FYI.

I think its a great deal. The minute I saw this I started looking on craigslist for sprint S3's and found several for $100-$150. I'll buy them. trade them in and then purchase a visa xmas gift card that the store still has. I bought them everytime with the other tradeins and then I have cash. $315 is a great deal!

I am pretty sure if it is a stolen phone, under no circumstances can the ESN be cleared unless taken to another provider...

Stolen and broken contact are two different things. Also most blocked ESN's are not stolen...it is for non payment...I happen to work cellular.

I thought broken contracts did not screw up the ESN.... Aren't companies supposed to unlock the phone if you pay the ETF?

Tempting... have an AT&T SGS3 Blue laying around in my house that I don't use anymore after I switched over to the iPhone 5.. It's unlocked... Wonder how much can I sell it for, would it be more than trade-in value? lol

The more you bring the more you get, the less you bring the less you get...condition affects it as well. Go to BB mobile in the store to trade in, geek squad if you don't have a bb mobile in your best buy.
