I did the same. canceled previous flight, registered for promo, and used my funds (which were available right away) to buy the same flights

flights were even cheaper which gives me $20 credit left with SW!

I'm assuming this stacks w/ the SW credit card?

As an unrelated aside, I just cashed in the 50K miles from the CC enrollment offer in Dec for $500 in Amazon gift cards. What a weird process - they UPS'd me 20 $25 GC's that I had to enter manually into Amazon.com.

Yes this promotion stacks with points earned for using your Chase SW credit card. The credit card points post separately at the end of each billing cycle.

I just received an email from Soutwest, after enrollment if I book any flight then I will get double points - With wanna get away fare normally we receive 6 points per dollar but for this particular period we will receive double point that's 12
