120 gb actually. Thought it was a 128 gb samsung pro for a second. Good price anyways. Wish it came with a desktop bracket.

Good price, but once I add taxes/shipping for Illinois, it comes to $92.34. This is more expensive than currently available @ Amazon.
Places with no tax from Tiger Direct will benefit from this deal. |

Bought the 250GB one when it was $150. Note that the 120G one has only 530MB/s read and 130MB/s write speed while the 250G one is 540MB/s and 250MB/s instead. So not only the per GB cost is higher for this one, the performance is also lower too.

I am so confused over the who 830/840/840 pro. I've got an 80GB 830 amazon open box for $85, a 250GB 840 (in an asus s200e touchbook) from amazon new for $150 and a 500GB 840 from ebay/buydig for $270 after 10% coupon.
Will I notice anything really between the 3 lines? I am definitely keeping the 500, might downgrade the s200e to a 80gb and return the 250. |

It's too bad that the cost savings associated with using TLC nand instead of MLC nand are not being passed to the consumer. 120gb drives are usually around 70-80 when there is a deal and I have not seen a decent drive for significantly cheaper than this. Hopefully we will see prices go down even more now that TLC is starting to trickle in.
