OMG Another Remote?
I see that it has on/off switch on the back, what is the center position? I lost track of how much money I spent on these things, it is not even funny... I first bought the previous model for $35, then I bought one keyboard with trackpad from ebay for $50 that supposed to have an IR and regular TV remote on the back and has mic/speaker that works well actually but trackpad sucks.., then I bought a virgin cellphone thinking I could maybe use that as keyboard and mouse and it sucks because all apps are either crappy or terribly laggy in mouse mode, this all on top of my regular remote/keyboard/mouse that I had from iOgear extended range (Awesome).. So I am now going to but this remote and I hope it will work. There is also this on ebay which I was seriously considering buying: What do you all think about this? Love the Lenovo remote. Just a thought though - there are tons of free apps now available for Android (and presumably other smartphone platforms) that offer PC control. I use Unified Remote. As long as you are within range via BT or on the same wifi network it works great.

Wow, Lenovo sales team is terrible, i placed two orders, one he got my last name wrong, and the 2nd order he missed a digit on my address.. I told him to correct it, he said he did, but then when I got the e-mail it is still wrong. Then I called them they said they cannot change it, I have to wait for shipping confirmation then request re-route.. Damn, I wish online ordering worked when I was trying this is terrible.

Just letting the Slick Dealers know that I picked up the touchpad and its pretty bad. There is no software that you can fine tune the actions of the touchpad and it seems like all of the gestures are built in. I find the response pretty bad and it overall is not a pleasant experience with no way to tailor it to your liking. (like turning off gestures that get in the way or making it go faster/slower). Yes windows 8 gestures work and yes, it worked on my mac. If you really really want a cheap touchpad, i guess its ok, but if I could do it all over again I would wait for the Logitech rechargeable one to be on sale.

Does anyone know if the keyboard will work on an Xbox 360 w/o using the little USB dongle?
Edit: Looks like it's RF as opposed to IR so it wouldn't work w/o the dongle as that's an RF receiver. Last edited by OstrichSak; 02-06-2013 at 03:56 PM.. If my post has helped you in any way or made you smile please take a moment to click the number next to my reputation and add to it. Thanks!
