Fluval 105 on clearance (YMMV) at Petco B&M @ $27. Fluval 205/405 models on clearance too!

I picked up a Fluval 105 canister filter last week at Petco. Sorry for the delay. It was marked as being on 'clearance' for $27.00 just below an empty spot on a shelf at my local store. I called up a couple of other nearby stores and scored one across state lines (cheaper tax too) about 27 miles away (fyi, my local store is 12 miles away in the opposite direction). If you are in the market for either a power and/or canister type filter and your aquarium tank is sized 25 gallons or less, I do not believe you can do much better in terms of filtration than with this 125GPH quality filter. It is quiet, efficient, and offers truly superb filtration. I certainly couldn't have cared less when this deal came around shortly after, as I just put up an ad on CL for the Penguin 170 that came bundled with my recently acquired used fish tank setup.

P.S. - I used the PetSmart $10 off $60 coupon found here to discount the price even further. However, that coupon expired on the 3rd. So, if anything try this one instead.
