with camera foam, it's great for an slr plus some lenses...good as an overnight bag for your kid...good as an emergency change of clothes in the trunk of your car...etc...people's imaginations are very limited...I can't believe the people complaining about it's limited use as a 3 week cruise traveling trunk...look, it's 20 inches tall and it has a hard shell...it is what it is and it's a deal when you don't limit your imagination.

Just picked it up and I found it quite nice for $25....Definitely not worth $99 though hah. It has a zipper lock, the hard shell plastic is decent quality, and it spins 360 degrees! As a previous person mentioned...putting in foam is a viable option. I thought about that myself---I will be taking this on a short business trip 4 nights, 5 days...we'll see if it'll handle NYC!

Ran over to my local Office Max where they had about 25 in stock.

Played around with it for a bit -- my impressions are that it'll be good for car trips and anything non-flight related. It would probably be ok as a carry-on bag.

However, I wouldn't want to check this bag in on a flight. Reasoning - the shell is not as hard or thick as I think it should be. It collapses pretty easily and my fear is it would get crushed on a flight and/or might develop tears if it gets caught on something.

Anything other than flight, I say buy it.

thanks. just checking why everyone is complaining when this was sold as a carry-on. i think its just fine and functional for that. i wouldnt recommend this for check-in as it does seem soft. use the 1saleaday set from a couple weeks ago for that
