Nice~ my ink cost more than that. Worth it.

I got an older HP inkjet all-in-one as a gift where the ink's all dry. This cost less than what I would spend to replace the 4 ink cartridges in that thing. Plus, the Feb 13 pickup solves the V-Day gift question...

I can't think of a more romantic gift than a wireless AIO printer.

I THINK I have this printer (I'm at work), but it's been the best printer I've owned.

I'm so old, I actually prefer practical gifts...sigh*

Only 1 cartrdge for color, so you print a lot of one color and get to buy a new cartridge that costs twice what the printer costs.

I love Canon's wireless printers but be aware this has no ADF.

As a person who bought this printer and returned it right after:

The cartridges for this printer have print head nozzles built-in. This is a pretty advanced technology and therefore there are NO non-OEM cheap cartridges available for sale. (AFAIK)

Closest bet is to refill them, which is not a feasible option when you consider the cartridge life span and annoying low-ink warnings.

You might want to go ahead with another printer for which there are cheap non-OEM cartridges with CHIP built-in

If you are rich enough to pay for OEM cartridges, discard my warning, otherwise THINK TWICE...

Anyone know if Costco refills/sells the ink on these bad boys?
