I rebooked at least 5 times for my parents. They saved a total of $200 for their trip to MCO. You can rebook many times as you want without penalty or fees. Y

I rebooked at least 5 times for my parents. They saved a total of $200 for their trip to MCO. You can rebook as many times as you want without penalty or fees. Your difference goes into a travel bank. You can apply that credit from that reservation to a future flight.

Each time that you rebook, you go to change flight. There you will enter your confirmation number and name. In the next screen, you will select your travel preference. Your flight details will appear based on your travel preference. You will apply the entire amount paid for your flight to the new flight. If flight is lower, prior to switching your flights a credit/difference will appear. The credit/difference will be deposited into your travel bank.

so say, in 6 months when i want to buy for a new trip (original trip done)- it will be in my SW account when I log in??? or do I have to reference the old Confirmation #?

I did not set up an account for them.

In six months, you will purchase new airfare. You will enter your information in the "Traveller Info" page of SW's website. At the bottom, there is a section that you can apply travel funds. You will need your confirmation number, last name, and first name. Then you click on apply funds to your purchase; it will deduct the credit in your traveler's bank from your total.

I will do the same for my parents' future trip.

No Worries - I also saved their confirmation number. If you lost it, you probably could use the funds by contacting SW's customer service. I know that calling customer service to book a flight incurs fees for most travel websites.,
