Southwest and AirTran Launch Three-Day 'LUV Sale'!

Does anyone know the answer to this? If I don't have a companion pass right now, but will by the time I plan to fly, can my partner still fly free?

This sale started not even five minutes after I booked a non-refundable flight with another airline. Southwest's flight (which I checked this morning) is now not only cheaper, but it's non-stop — the one I booked has a layover.

I also booked a flight last Friday on Southwest that's $50 cheaper now. I got the credit for it, but I'll be lucky if I fly anywhere before it expires.

Unbelievable. No slick deals made by me today.

if there are seats free..yes. You book your flight first and the companion is booked after.

Finally The $49 flights from Sacramento to Las Vegas return. Aka $97.80 round trip!

Yes.... Provided he/she gets the companion pass by then... You'll have to add the companion to the itin before you fly (Call-in or can be done online in southwest acct.)

and as the other poster said...also would depend on seat availability

as many times till the CP is valid... only you have to oay for yourself (via cash/points) and companion would be added for mere $5-10 charge

If I could give you 1,000 reps, I would. I've never had to cancel a flight before, so I just had no clue you could cancel free and clear within 24 hours. Thank you SO much!

Saved some nice cash and a ton of time not having a layover anymore. THANKS AGAIN!
