Honestly most trips I have priced are NO DEAL compared to what others currently offer just on a pricing basis..

It's worth noting that SW's fares - at least from SFO to LAX - are being matched by other airlines, including United and AA. If you have a credit card that gives you free checked bags, it's worth checking out.

ummm... I don't understand why I don't see the special prices. I read all the small print on blackout dates and what'not and the fares are still higher than posted.
I thought Slickdeals would save me money... but now I spend more. "It was such a great deal - I had to buy it!!!"

I've been monitoring NYC>New Orleans fares for about a month, hadn't seen anything below $260 and as high as $400+. Just bought a Southwest r/t from Newark for $240 for times that work great for me. Thanks for the heads-up!
