This was missed couple of times before...

Compared to standard Keurigs this is junk, right?

I red some good reviews on this yesterday.

They are doing it to match the sale price at target that includes a $20 GC card this week. I picked one up there today. I am mad that they only had the red one in stock locally. May wait a week or two and then exchange it for the black version. Not going to need it for another month.

why the water rez has to be so small on this one? thats only 2 big cups

Several reviews indicate a "plasticy" taste, even after several phases of just brewing water.

Also not a huge fan of the limited size of reservoir but at this point I'm not sure I want to invest another $150+ in a Keurig after mine decided to die a little after 2 years...

I bought this at Wal mart and it works good. The downsides are the small reservoir size and also for some strange reason you cant use certain filtered water for whatever reason. I have used it on the road and didnt notice any plasticy taste. I think for the price its good, its not as good as the more expensive Keurig model but for something cheap and useable and makes good coffee this fills the bill. Oh and the reviews are spot on about the short power cord.

I use one of these at work, and just ordered another one for my wife. It works just swell for me. I get 3 servings of the 'large' button, which fills my travel mug (standard size, 16oz?) just over half full, then I top off with cold water so I can start consuming immediately haha. The reservoir comes off so I just make a quick trip to the water cooler and I'm set for another 3 cups of coffee, if the morning dictates haha.

I have a Keurig Elite at home and its not really fair to compare them. This Mr. Coffee is more of a personal brewer. I really like how the drip basin slides out so you can fit the taller mugs (like my travel mug). The brew is on par with my Keurig unit at home, although it does take a little longer to heat & brew. Maybe 45 seconds to a minute longer. I never timed it, but its noticeable. For the price, it's a solid machine.

Is a keurig brewer even worth it? Those cups seem so much more expensive than from just using a simple drip coffee brewer...not to mention the waste created by using individual packaging for each cup of coffee you drink

The convenience of not having to go through the process of preparing the coffee and cleaning up really outweighs the cost. Also the fact that you can make a single servings as opposed to whole pot you really save by making only what your going to drink rather than one big pot of wasted coffee. If you can't afford kcups than you should really stick to Folgers or Maxwell house.

This was on sale for $49.99 during Amazon's Christmas lightning deals. Bought one as Christmas gift for my boss and she says thats all she uses to make coffee now days. Personally I own the B70 and use it daily and could not go back to a drip maker unless I had to make a coffee for a lot of people.

My barista says these make an inferior cup of coffee.
