Got both of my i7/8gb/256gb ones in. They both work great and look brand new. If i peel the "certified refurbished" sticker off the bottom you would never know.

My package arrived at a Fedex location an hour away from my location at 4 a.m. this morning (estimate delivery date is today) and arrived just a minute ago. Unfortunately I have 2 exams this week to study for so I can't distract myself with this sexy device.

and afaik you don't have to delete the recovery partition to install 8 pro. Just install it on the same OS partition, don't mess with the recovery partition. Starting to get pretty antsy seeing everyone else getting theirs lol. Mine shows a scheduled delivery of tomorrow, but my tracking information hasn't updated at all since 2/9. Hopefully TN to AZ takes, at worst, 1 more day.

Wow... I must have bad luck. Tracking says mine was on the delivery truck and now it says it was damaged and is heading back to the shipper. I was really looking forward to getting this thing. Thanks FedEx!

mine arrived. haven't powered it on yet, but it looks brand new, but there was some nasty sticky stuff on a good half of the lid. Like they had some huge sticker on it and ripped it off before shipping.
sat some goo gone on it for a while and seems to be good...... |
