Sony DSC-RX100 Digital Camera - Used Like New - AmazonWarehouse $503.06

Was thinking about this for scuba but 500 for camera and 400 for cheapest underwater case and still need light kits so would run me 900+lighting.

S100 $280+212 underwater case = $492... Tough to give the Sony the nod for $400 extra bones but would love both kits to do a comparison... Oh well guess I am taking my S95 kit to Aruba in 2 weeks and M32 camcorder underwater kit as well for scuba pics/video..

I wouldn't take any expensive camera underwater, unless it was my job.

I use a g12 and a $200 case.

I wouldn't buy any expensive items through Amazon Warehouse Deals -- Like New with them is a joke. They don't look over the items they get back worth a damn. I order a 500GB SSD drive and they sent me the 500GB SSD hard drive ($400 item box) with a $20 6 year old 100GB conventional hard drive in it. When I called to yell at them and demand a refund they told me they were too busy at the warehouse to fully inspect all the items they sell even though they advertise they do on their site. Buy at our own risk.

Ummm...I have always had great experiences with Amazon Warehouse Deals. In fact I bought this exact camera (RX-100) a few days ago for around $530 - packaging was damaged but not a scratch on it. The plastic film on the lens and LCD had never even been removed.

Coming from an S95, the RX100 improvements for me, are no joke.

I've ordered the RX100 from Amazon's Warehouse twice this past week. Both were in like-new condition when I placed my orders. I had to return the first one due to some dead pixels on the screen. Everything else was fine with the camera. The replacement I got had a pretty beat up box but the camera itself was in mint condition. No scratches, absolutely flawless. There are some good deals to be had with the warehouse but definitely inspect the items you order when you receive them.

+1. Bought a lens in "Like New", they delivered an entirely different lens. Just tried my luck last month for an A37M Sony camera "Like New", camera came in badly used condition, complete with some kind of bread crumbs on the zoom ring. WT?

Too funny as this camera came to me like new -- BUT it isn't exaclt pocket size and the scuba accessories (watercase) was much more than the Powershot S100.

Ashamed though as this takes amazing low light and detailed pics but I had to return it because for my purposes it wouldn't work so I needed to stick with a Powershot 100 for $249 with the much smaller sensor due to form size and underwater enclosure costs.

Got mine today from Amazon Warehouse. It was graded as a "like new" with "may come repackaged" caveat.

I was surprised to find a pristine, original box with an equally pristine camera. No lens or body marks, very happy.

Glad I sold my S95, the low light performance on the RX100 is very impressive.

I had to trade in 3 times before I got a decent camera (Made in China though)
The "Made in Japan" 1st batches seem to have Lens Defects.
